The Law of Success and You

This post contains ideas that can improve your income and other aspects of your life to a significant degree.

These ideas have been used by everyone and anyone, either consciously or unconsciously, who has ever enjoyed success in any calling.

What I’m about to share is part of the Law of Success. As you bring your mind into harmony with these extraordinary concepts, your life will begin to change.

Prepare to stretch your imagination

You may be surprised that there’s an actual law that governs success. However, everything in this universe, including success, works according to law.

Well, in the 1960s, a man named Raymond Holliwell, who was a student and master of the Laws of Living, penned a fabulous book called Working With The Law. Holliwell summed up the Law of Success very well in Chapter 12 of that book.

The chapter is so good that studying and understanding the first page alone could be enough to change your life forever.

So, today, let’s concentrate on just that page.

The chapter opens with the following sentence:

“God intended every individual to succeed.”

That sentence offers so much promise that it compels you to keep reading to see what comes next.

Holliwell goes on to say:

“It is God’s purpose that man should become great.”

Well, several years ago, I read a book by Robert Russell, and he said, “There’s no secret to becoming great or doing great work. You simply do little things in a great way every day.”

That simplifies what Holliwell said God intended for us. We don’t have to accomplish herculean deeds or have some extraordinary talent to become great. We simply have to do little, everyday things in a great way. Those little things might include practicing positive self-talk, setting and meeting daily goals and going the extra mile at work.

Next Holliwell says:

“It is God’s will that man should not only use, but enjoy every good in the universe. The Law of God denies man nothing.

“Man is born to be rich. The powers inherent in him are inexhaustible.
Each normal person is endowed with a complete set of faculties which, if properly developed and scientifically applied, will ensure success, ever-growing success.”

Think about that for a few moments. That’s not Holliwell’s wish or assumption; it’s an actual law.

Of course, Holliwell isn’t the only one who understood this law and the importance of developing our faculties.

Napoleon Hill, the author of Think and Grow Rich, said, “An educated man is not, necessarily, one who has an abundance of general or specialized knowledge. An educated man is one who has so developed the faculties of his mind that he may acquire anything he wants, or its equivalent, without violating the rights of others.”

You may not even know what the faculties of your mind are. After all, we weren’t programmed to use them. Instead, when we were raised, we were programmed to use our sensory factors. So, we go by what we can see, hear, taste, touch and smell.

And do you know what that does?

It programs us to live from the outside in and from the bottom up. It conditions us to let the physical control our higher or spiritual realm.

The problem is, God didn’t design us to work that way.

We are spiritual beings living in a physical body. And spirit always manifests through its polar opposite—meaning nonphysical energy manifests into something physical (matter).

If you’re going to work in harmony with the Law, you’re going to have to work from the thought to the thing, instead of the thing to the thought.

An example of what I mean by that is no longer letting the bank account dictate your financial status. To work from the thought to the think, you have to use the faculties that Napoleon Hill was talking about.

I won’t go into detail here, but here’s what your faculties are:

  • Perception—you can decide how you look at life.
  • Will—you can use your will to concentrate on what you want, instead of what you don’t want.
  • Memory—you can create “future memories” of the successful life you want.
  • Reason—you have the ability to think and solve problems.
  • Intuition—you can use your intuitive factor to pick up people’s vibration.
  • Imagination—you can build anything with your imagination; it’s where all creation begins in your life.

So, you have phenomenal tools, and you can develop them to live from the inside out and experience the ever-growing success that Holliwell wrote about.

Next, Holliwell said:

“Man is made for progress. Every man contains within himself the capacity for endless development. “

I don’t know about you, but that really excites me. I’ve been studying this for the past twelve years and Bob’s been studying it for close to sixty years, and we both know we’re going to be studying it for the rest of our lives. We want to keep getting better and better at it.

The next sentence in the chapter on the Law of Success reads:

“Advancement into all things is the law’s great purpose. By learning to work with the Law in promoting that aim, many may build himself into greater and greater success.”

When you work with the Law, you’re going to earn more and more money. Bob and I make more money now than ever before, and it’s easier to do.

You’re also going to have more and better friends. You’re going to live in a healthier body. You’re going to enjoy your work more. You’re going to do what you want to do and live the way that you want to live, not the way someone else wants you to live.

Now listen to the next paragraph from Holliwell:

“All the processes of Nature are successful. Nature knows no failures. She never plans anything but success. She aims at results in every form and manner. To succeed in the best and fullest sense of the term we must, with Nature as our model, copy her methods. In her principles and laws we shall discover all the secrets of success.”

That’s incredible when you think about it. Nature is perfect. We know, for a fact, the tide is going to come in, and it will go out. Day follows the night, and summer will always follow the spring. It’s the Law.

The beauty of it is, we can follow Nature’s model and create the same consistent, predictable results.

Here’s the last paragraph on this remarkable page in Working With The Law:

“Infinite resources are at man’s disposal. There are no limits to his possibilities. He focuses and individualizes the elements, forces, and principles of the whole world. He can develop a wonderful intelligence; thus, all life’s questions may be answered, all Nature’s secrets discover, and all human problems solved. Nothing is impossible.”

That may sound like a bit of a stretch, but it’s not.

Everything in this universe will rush to your aid when you’re working in harmony with the Law.

It doesn’t happen some of the time or most of the time. It happens ALL the time. The Law is a uniform and orderly method of the omnipotent God. It’s the way everything works, and everything works perfectly.

What can you do?

I suggest that you re-read Holliwell’s words, and then think about what you can do.

You’ve got higher faculties, inexhaustible powers and deep reservoirs of talent and ability within you. And they can all be developed to an extraordinary degree.

Every mind can develop greatness. It is simply a matter of knowing how.

Wait… there’s more

Before 2006, I didn’t have any idea that there was a law that governed success. So, I was thrilled when I learned about it.

See, even though I had enjoyed success all my life, I didn’t understand why. I wasn’t aware of why I was able to go all through my education at the top of the class and then build a successful law practice where I earned the respect of many of the wealthiest people in America.

And I knew that a lot of other successful people didn’t know why either—not to mention the millions who didn’t know how to be successful.

I hope that this brief introduction to the Law of Success will help you and those you care about.

Of course, there’s much more to the Law of Success. In fact, Napoleon Hill’s lifelong work was to produce the Law of Success in Sixteen Lessons.

Hill’s masterpiece contained the fundamental principles for success. Bob studied those fundamentals and used them to achieve his extraordinary success over the past 57 years.

We included most of those principles in a free download for your use. We hope you find the ideas as useful as Bob and I, and countless others, found them to be in creating the lives we most want to live.

To more and better,

Sandy Gallagher
