As we close out 2018, there’s something we want you to know…
We appreciate you. We appreciate the time and attention you have given to us. And we are grateful that you are sharing part of your life’s journey with us. In short, at this time of the year where many people give and receive gifts, we want you to know that you are a magnificent gift to us.
You are also a gift to the world. You have unique talents and abilities that no one else ever has or ever will be able to duplicate. So, as we move into a new year, we hope you’ll take a few minutes to recognize and appreciate your magnificence.
One way to do that is to set aside 15 minutes to answer the following questions before the clock strikes midnight. It will allow you to reflect on and feel good about the wondrous things that happened over the past twelve months:
1. What did you do, create or experience this year that you are really, proud of?
Look through your calendar, journal, phone, etc. to remind yourself of the things that went well.
2. What mistakes did you make that you can learn from and leverage in the New Year?
3. What projects, commitments, or goals have you been holding on to for months or years, but you have never done anything about them?
Make up your mind right now that you’re going to let go of every one of them, so you can make room for the things that are aligned with who you are now and where you want to go from here.
Ready to make 2019 transformational?
Few people take the time to reflect on the things they did right, leverage the wisdom they gained from the previous year, and let go of the things that no longer serve them.
By answering the questions above, you will set you up for a powerful, productive and amazing new year.
And, if you want to take things to a whole new level in 2019, here are seven words to live by to help ensure that you experience an extraordinary year:
1. Imagination
Most people use the imagination the wrong way. They imagine the worst that could happen instead envisioning the results they want.
In 2019, make it a practice to use your imagination to your benefit. Build images of you enjoying life with your goal already fulfilled. Use your imagination to bring the future you want into the present.
2. Faith
Faith is the ability to see the invisible and believe in the incredible. It allows you to receive on the physical plane what the masses call impossible.
Faith is a state of mind that you can develop. So, if you find yourself questioning your ability to do something, strengthen your faith through study, meditation and repetition of positive affirmations.
The laws of this universe are perfect. Trust them. Place your order and believe with all your heart that it will be delivered to you on time.
3. Desire
A desire is an emotionally-involved want. To want something means that you wish for something on a conscious level. To desire something means that you wish for it on a deeper, subconscious level. When you have a burning desire for something, it will not take no for an answer.
Your objective in 2019 is to turn your goal (which is at the top of your mind) into a desire by getting emotionally involved with the idea. You do that by impressing the idea upon your subconscious mind over and over until you become one with it.
4. Decision
Successful people make decisions very quickly and change their mind very slowly, if at all.
Your goal is on a higher frequency than your current level of thought. To reach the goal, you’re going to have to raise your thoughts and make decisions that are on that higher frequency.
In 2019, make committed decisions that will move you closer to your goal. It will raise your thoughts to the appropriate frequency level to start attracting exactly what you want. Whenever you decide, the universe goes to work on your behalf, working out the details to help you get where you want to go.
5. Plan
Successful people create organized plans to keep progressing forward. We encourage you to do the same in 2019.
Start by thinking about where you want to be one year from now. Then, work backward from there and create quarterly goals. Now, think about and write down the steps you will need to take each quarter to get you where you want to go.
6. Persistence
Most people are ready to throw in the towel at the first sign of opposition. Don’t be like them.
To reach your goal, you will need persistence. You have to decide that giving up is not an option. To help you develop this wonderful trait, commit to reading the chapter on persistence in Think and Grow Rich every day for 30 days. If you miss a day, start over.
When you put your plan into action and mix it with the persistence conjured by your desires, you become unstoppable.
7. Knowledge
Knowledge is learning how to master your mind. You also need specialized knowledge to become indispensable at your craft or service. All this requires lifelong learning.
Become obsessed with understanding who you are. And understand this: no matter what you want to be, do, or have in 2019, you can find the knowledge that takes you where you want to go.
You may have heard people say, “Knowledge is power.” However, as Napoleon Hill says in Think and Grow Rich, knowledge is only potential power. It becomes power only when and if it is organized into definite plans of action and directed to a definite end.
You are truly magnificent
As you set or revise your goals for 2019, recognize that you have infinite power.
You deserve a life that lights you up, so don’t settle for mediocrity. Don’t allow yourself to stay where you are because you don’t know what to do or you’re afraid to admit or reconnect with what you really want.
The path to stepping up isn’t always easy. And yet as you start taking steps, you’ll experience deeper levels of joy, freedom, love and connection than you ever thought possible.
We promise that you have what it takes to get where you want to go. We believe in you. Now believe in yourself and really let things rip!
Warm wishes for the New Year,
