“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.”
Those powerful words from the extraordinary Marianne Williamson have inspired people all around the world, including me.
I love the idea of each person in the world daring to let their light shine. And I decided to create a movement to help people from all walks of life—from CEOs to families on welfare—tap into their true power for at least one day a year.
So, in 2003, my team and I established Winspiration Day—a dedicated day to think about our individual and collective potential.
On Winspiration Day, which is observed on the 7th of May each year, we think about our purpose, strengths and dreams for the future—for ourselves, our families and the world.
I wholeheartedly believe that the best is yet to come. I believe the world is getting better, bit by bit, and we will experience prosperity in this world beyond anything we can imagine today.
As my vision for a much brighter future for us and our children continues to grow, so does Winspiration Day. It is now recognized internationally, with several events taking place all over the world.
Winspiration Day is not about motivation; it’s about inspiration. Motivating someone assumes that the person doesn’t feel like doing anything. Inspiration is something else. It is recognizing the invisible creative power which is in each and every one of us.
We have acknowledged people again and again who have realized a dream as a result of tapping into their internal power and vision, despite physical or other limitations. People who show us what is possible if one only believes.
Bob Proctor has been a strong supporter since the early days, having spoken at two previous Winspiration Day events—in Berlin in 2005 and Zurich in 2011.
And I’m very excited to announce that this year, the Proctor Gallagher Institute is joining forces with us in an attempt to take Winspiration Day worldwide!
Let me explain why I’m telling you all of this.
We’re looking for people to head up Winspiration Day events around the globe. So, we’re sharing this message with individuals who are students of Bob Proctor’s and Sandy Gallagher’s material. People who get it—people like you.
We want dozens of individuals—business owners in particular—to commit to organizing an event in their area for Saturday, May 7, 2016. Our goal is to have Winspiration Day celebrations in communities around the globe.
Bob Proctor and Sandy Gallagher will be speaking at our main event (a five-day program) in or near Vienna, Austria. And each person who organizes an event will have their name added to a PGI banner that will be displayed at this event.
Organizers will also have the knowledge of having impacted the lives of countless people in their community in a way that can transform their lives.
Write here, [email protected], to request information on how you can organize a Winspiration Day event in your area.
If you can’t head up an event, we hope you’ll attend one or simply make May 7, 2016, your Personal Power Day. I’ve witnessed, time and time again, how dreams become a reality as a result of focusing on your light, your greatness.
