After 5 wonderful years of travel, adventure, “goal getting” and powerful love, I returned to my original home, St. Louis, Missouri. I originally left to attend one of the best contemporary music schools in the world … and while there, I met my wonderful now wife, Anna. She is from Sofia, Bulgaria and her dreams, like mine, had led her to Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California. We quickly fell in love after meeting and became inseparable – which was a wonderful outcome we both manifested by simply doing something we love to do.
After getting married by Dyan Cannon in CBS Studios, we flew to Bulgaria to be on the television show “VIP Brother” (Bulgaria’s version of Big Brother with Bulgarian celebrities).
To fill you in all the way, Anna and I were attending the 90 day “goal getting” seminar in LA from PSI seminars called “PLD”. One of my goals was a money goal. After setting the goal, Big Brother “randomly” presented an opportunity to us, and it paid out more than my goal: So Anna and I decided to attend in order to achieve the goal together.
Our plan was to go on the television show and then to return to the US after 3 months. We had our tickets and everything well-planned. To our complete surprise, Anna was not allowed to return to the US after leaving. We ultimately waited for 3 years in Bulgaria until she finally received the allowance to reenter the country.
And this, my friends, is where the “Struggle Of The Struggle” began.
That experience was challenging … and in hindsight, a blessing as well. The so-called “struggle” began after we finally returned to the US. You see, I had created a false struggle in my life from negative self-talk. Please know that I had been practicing and teaching positive affirmations for years before this experience, and yet I STILL allowed myself to slip into a very negative vibration.
Here’s how it happened…
Once we finally moved back to St. Louis, the re-integration back into the US mixed with the culture shock and “re-rooting” my small family was an interesting ride.
People who I hadn’t seen in a long time would ask me, “How are you”? I would respond with something like, “I am great, yet I am struggling a bit to get re-situated right now”.
The more I said that to others and to myself, the more I actually felt some type of “struggle”: Basically, the verbalization to myself and others that I was experiencing a “struggle” became a paradigm of mine and my emotional state suffered greatly. The more I told that story, the faster the law of attraction served me that negative reality that I had brought to myself. It manifested though emotions and experiences.
Eventually I hit the bottom and I am so grateful that I did. One faithful day it all came to me in a split second. I had experienced “the struggle, of the struggle”.
Does this make sense to you? You see, there was no real struggle and there never was. Yet I experienced one because I told myself there was.
This extreme realization rocketed me in the opposite direction instantly and my thoughts, feelings and actions took a 180 degree positive turn. I immediately started doing powerful meditations to raise my vibration, and that is exactly what happened. My whole emotional state changed instantaneously with my realization and quick action.
