The Relationship Between Success and Failure

I hope you watch this video more than once because it contains many important points about the relationship between success and failure.

Many people are afraid to fail or are embarrassed by their failures. While I certainly don’t dwell on mine (or my successes for that matter), I am happy that I’ve had many failures in my life.

Why?

Because it means I’m acting on opportunities.

You see, if you treat every failure as a learning experience, then you’ll end up a winner.

As long as you are true to your purpose, you should treat success and failure, no matter how big or small, exactly the same: Learn from each one.

Abraham Maslow said you will either step forward into growth or step back into safety. He also advised us if you plan on being anything less than you are capable of being you will probably be unhappy all the days of your life.

So forget what you heard when you were growing up. It’s NOT better to be safe than sorry.
Of course, I am not suggesting that you become irresponsible. Taking risks that are on purpose is quite different than being irresponsible.

Always keep in mind that losing is a part of winning. When you fall down, get up and keep moving forward. It’s by trying things that you figure out how far you can go.

To your success,

Bob Proctor
