The Key to a Truly Successful Life

I mention success and being successful several times in this video. So I think it’s important to define what I mean by those terms.

When I use the word “success,” I’m not talking about prestige or standing. I’m talking about accomplishing personal and professional goals.

Trying to be “a success” so others will put you on a pedestal leads to frustration and unhappiness. But striving to be “successful” brings fulfillment and happiness—and material success. I’ve never attempted to be a success, but I give everything I’ve got to being successful.

Striving for a goal that is meaningful to you (as a result of your own deeply felt desires) brings happiness AND success because it allows you to function as you were meant to function.

You see, we are goal-striving beings by nature, so we are not truly happy unless we are going for a goal(s). For that reason, success and happiness not only go together but each enhances the other.

To live more successfully, you must understand who you are, why you are doing what you’re doing and how to change what you are doing if you are not satisfied with your results. You can be, do and have whatever you truly want. The only thing missing is what wise King Solomon urged us to develop, and that is our understanding.

My latest book, The Art of Living, contains what I’ve learned and experienced after studying this subject for the past 55 years. It will help you develop the understanding you need to create a life that is meaningful and successful to you.

The book comes out on December 29th, but you can pre-order it by clicking here. Get the book to learn an art that everyone wants, but only a few master. And let me tell you something, it’s a wonderful experience when you do.

To your success,

Bob Proctor
